The Wesley Chapel Chamber held their Monthly Economic Development Briefing on April 23, 2015, from 11:30am - 12:30pm, at Hoosiers Grille, in Tampa. This monthly meeting provided Chamber members with up-to-date information on Economic Development activities that are going on in the New Tampa and Wesley Chapel areas. Guest speakers brief the community on projects related to Economic Development and vary from month-to-month. This month’s Guest Speaker was Chris Alvarez, CFO of Florida Medical Clinic.

As you may already know, Florida Medical Clinic is in the process of building a 3-story, 80,000 sq. ft. facility on Bruce B. Downs, located next to Florida Hospital. This was an exciting presentation, and members found out about the facility and what it means for the medical needs of the local communities and for job opportunities in Wesley Chapel.
