A Critical Vote for SunWest's funding is coming before Pasco County, this Wednesday

This past weekend OurTownFLA.com went to SunWest Park to check it out, and the progress on the Counties Newest Park is phenomenal. This Wednesday, April 8th, is a Critical Vote for Sun West's funding, there are $2.7 million available in the Tourist Development Council funds. Commissioner Jack Mariano has made a motion that $1.7 million of this go to Sun West. This would provide enough funding for the needed splash pad and extra paved parking and speed up construction on the very badly needed second bathroom. He has proposed the remaining $1 million go to Starkey Park in Trinity to fund more ball fields. No other project under construction or in planning in Pasco has the potential impact for residents and visitors that Sun West does. Please take a minute and e-mail the commission at commissioners@pascocountyfl.net. Tell them you want to see Sun West fully funded and to vote yes on Commissioner Mariano's proposal.
