Zephyrhills® 100% Natural Spring Water (“Zephyrhills®â€) is currently celebrating the 50th anniversary of the production of Zephyrhills® water in Pasco County, Florida, which is produced from natural, sustainable springs in Florida, including Crystal Springs located on the Crystal Springs Preserve in Pasco County, Florida. Zephyrhills® water is produced and distributed by approximately 968 full time and seasonal employees in the State of Florida, including over 250 employees of the Zephyrhills plant located in Zephyrhills, Pasco, County, Florida. Zephyrhills®â€™ respect for the environment, stewardship of water resources, and stewardship of the land, is evidenced by its numerous charitable and educational endeavors in the State of Florida, including its recent partnership with Crystal Springs Preserve to launch WaterVentures, a traveling science center providing approximately 50,000 students each year with hands-on, museum quality education on Florida’s aquifers, hydrogeology, and biodiversity. To celebrate the 50th Anniversary, Zephyrhills® launched its “50 Things We Love About Florida” campaign, and shall donate up to $50,000.00 dollars to non-profit organizations to fund cleanup efforts, watershed education, and recycling activities to help the Hillsborough River become a model “Trash Free Waterway,” and is hosting an Open House at its Zephyrhills plant, in Pasco County, Florida, on October 25th, offering guided tours of its plant to the public. The Pasco County Board of County Commissioners commemorates the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the production of Zephyrhills® water in Pasco County, Florida, and to recognize the economic and environmental contributions made to Pasco County and the State of Florida by Zephyrhills®, the week of October 19th through 25th, 2014, is hereby designated as “Zephyrhills Spring Water Appreciation Week.”
