Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Last week Saddlebrook Resort hosted the Making Strides against Breast Cancer 2014 Kickoff Event. Maureen Moore and Robyn Liska were the emcees for the evening while Paula S. O’Neil, Ph.D., Pasco Clerk & Comptroller shared her survivor story and Jennifer Cofini of Parks Motor Group spoke about being a successful team leader. The official 2014 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk of Pasco County will take place Saturday, October 25, 2014 at The Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel. There will be an Honor/Memory Wall of Hope and a special breakfast and ceremony to honor breast cancer survivors and caregivers. American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is a powerful event to raise awareness and funds to end breast cancer. Making Strides walkers turn awareness into action by helping raise more than $60 million for the American Cancer Society each year – one dollar at a time – to save more lives from breast cancer.
