Bellamy Brothers Concert for Pasco High School at the Reunion of the Decades

Pasco High School alumni’s Howard Bellamy (Class of 64) and David Bellamy (Class of 68) returned to their old stomping grounds to help raise over $75,000 for the school athletic department. Country music legends, the Bellamy Brothers, having performed all over the world didn’t have to travel far from their Darby homes to make it to W.F. Edwards Stadium and a couple thousand of their closest friends. The concert, headed by event chairs Becky Taylor and Cathlee Tomkow was a complete success and a fitting cap to the “Reunion of the Decades” honoring the reunion of Classes from 1935 to 1984.

The Bellamy Brothers often hold benefit concerts in Pasco County when they are available and enjoy giving back to the community. The Band had the crowd rocking and dancing to their hits like #1 hits like “Let Your Love Flow”, Redneck Girl and Old Hippie. Sponsors of this event include Growers Fertilizer, Traditions Bank, La Hacienda, Hodges Family Funeral Home, the Tampa Bay Times, Simpson Environmental Services and Bayfront Health. Money raised will help pay for equipment, referee fees, pool rentals, field paint, uniforms.
