There is big news coming for folks in Florida, especially the Tampa Bay region where people are always looking for a news source that that reflects the values and concerns of the community by providing a “Fair and Balanced take on the news”. Of the 16 largest newspapers in Florida most could be fairly classified as left leaning. The Tampa Tribune will attempt to make it clear that they will be the voice for those that espouse the traditional values that have made Fox News the dominate news source that it is today. Leading the charge is Tom Jackson whose widely read opinion piece called The Right Stuff is a must read for those in the know in the Pasco County market. He will now have a more prominently position in the Tampa Tribune Editorial staff battling former sports journalist Joe Henderson where each side is discussed and evaluated in the newspapers main editions. With the purchase of the Clearwater Gazette they even plan a major liberation assault on Pinellas County for the conservative speaking citizens and those that wish to see both sides of issues discussed. And as the paper describes a mythical Tom Jackson's baseball card, they say, “ he throws left, writes right. In his columns and blog, "The Right Stuff," southpaw Jackson provides insight into the evolving human condition from a distinctly conservative point of view.”
