Why My Mom Deserves a Diamond

My mom is like a diamond because no two diamonds are exactly alike and there’s no one else in the world like my mom. She would love to have a diamond because, of course, diamonds are a girl’s best friend. She deserves a diamond because of many different reasons but I am only going to give you five of those reasons that I think are the most important.
The first reason my mom deserves a diamond is because she has helped me and our other family members through some very hard and rough times. When my granny (my dad’s mom) passed away, we helped my grandpa pay bills because he did not know how to. We went over and visited with him almost every day to make sure he was eating right and make sure he was taking his medicine correctly. Then he had to go into the hospital. He was there for a couple of weeks. My mom went to the hospital every day to see him and to make sure that he had everything that he needed. He passed away in the hospital. Several weeks after that she comforted me every night because I had a really hard time with both my granny and my grandpa’s deaths. She even had to be strong for my dad because of the hole that was left in our family. When Father’s Day came a couple days later, my dad cried and cried. I cried a lot too. A diamond is the hardest substance known to man. My mom is like a diamond because she is the rock that holds our family together.
Another reason that my mom deserves a diamond is because she coached my baseball team. If we did really good, she would buy us pizza. If we did not do so good, she would be very sweet and explain in a soft voice what we did wrong and still praise us on our good plays. If the other team did well, she would compliment them after the game. We ended up winning first place almost every season that she coached. My mom and a diamond retains their value after years of being worn.
The third reason my mom is like a rare and fascinating diamond is because she has helped a family friend of ours. He used to live with my granny and grandpa. My granny used to pay his bills for him. After she passed away, my mom had to step in and teach him how to pay his bills and take care of his personal matters. Not many people would take the time or have the patience to help but my mom didn’t mind at all.
Two more spectacular reasons my mom deserves a diamond is because she takes me places and makes sure I am fed even when she is totally wiped out from work. Sometimes she will be swamped at work and still comes home and prepares a good home cooked meal. My mom sometimes gets migraines but she still gets up and takes me to baseball practice or to the park. We also like to ride our bikes on the bike trail.
Those five diamond deserving reasons are why my mom needs a diamond for Mother’s Day. Please remember my mom and how great she is. A diamond is forever and my mom will be forever in my heart.
