LOL Habitat receives check at Lopez VA Home

 Kevin Campbell Kevin Campbell (from left), father of four, will be the working partner who will receive the next house from the Habitat for Humanity at Pasco Lakes.  He is a Nursing Assistant at the Baldomero Lopez Veterans Nursing Home and was on hand when entertainer Brent Burns (on right) donated $500 to the Central Pasco Habitat for Humanity from money he’s raised from his CD sales.  Burns hales from Gulf Shores, AL, and was a Purple Heart recipient in Vietnam.  He recorded a hit for Habitat for Humanity in his tribute song, “Build Them A House.”  The song has just been chosen by Habitat for Humanity International for use in their public service announcements.  Wherever he travels he donates to the local Habitat for Humanity or another cause.  He presented a check to Charlie Reese (center), of JC Audiology, who represented Habitat for Humanity, after entertaining residents at the Baldomero Lopez Veterans Nursing Home.  Photos by Anthony V.
