Paula O’Neil, candidate for Clerk of the Court Fundraiser

 Candidate for Clerk of the Court Paula O’Neil (third from left) got help from family and friends alike at her “Paula and Parrots” Caribbean theme fundraiser April 26 at Hallelujah Land - Fairhaven Farms, on 15212 SR 52, Land O’Lakes. Many guests wore parrot shits and flip-flops and enjoyed BBQ Chicken and Hamburgers. Helping out were her son Patrick O’Neil, volunteers Laura Musella, (O’Neil) and Judy Kennedy. O’Neil is the current Chief Deputy Clerk of the Court and hopes to replace the current Clerk, Jed Pittman when he retires this year. For more information contact 727 847-3094.

Pasco County Law Enforcement had their 25th Annual 5K Torch Run to benefit the Special Olympics

The Pasco County Law Enforcement had their 25^th Annual 5K Torch Run to benefit the Special Olympics of Florida on April 23 starting at Starkey Boulevard and ending at Starkey Wilderness Park.  Members from the Pasco Sheriff's Office, New Port Richey Police Department, Zephyrhills Police Department, and Dade City Police Departments along with cadets from the Law Enforcement/ Corrections Academy at PHCC participated. T-shirt sales were sold and over $8,000 was raised for Special Olympics Florida.   Special Olympian Dakota Gignac, of Northwest Elementary in Hudson takes the torch from New Port Richey Corrections Officer Sgt. Kaii Gardner at the end of the run.  Gignac placed first in the Special Olympics 50-yard dash and threw a softball 35 feet nine inches to earn him the spot. …Many Pasco County Law Enforcement personnel including Pasco County Undersheriff Colonel Al Nienhuis (on right) showed up for the 25^th Annual 5K Torch Run to benefit the Special Olympics of Florida on April 23.  The event was held at Starkey Park and raised over $8,000 for Special Olympics Florida.  .…Members of the Zephyrhills and Hillsborough County Corrections Institute participated in the Pasco County leg of the 25^th Annual 5K Torch Run to benefit the Special Olympics of Florida on April 23.

 Rich Jenkins, candidate for Pasco County Commissioner District 5 held a Target Shooting contest Fundraiser with a Bar-B-Q and live entertainment Fairhaven Farms, SR 52 west of the Suncoast Parkway on April 26. Winners included Paul Blotta of Hudson (pistol), Mike Foy of Hudson (rifle), Peggy Payne (rifle), Linda Gangemi of Hudson (pistol), Susan Motta of Florida Luxury Reality of NPR, Rich Jenkins, his wife Debbie, daughters Tori 7 and Oliva 4.
