Mixer at Watson Clinic Dermatology

  Click >>> Here

6901 Medical View Lane (off Dairy Rd across from fire station)

Watson Clinic proudly hosted the Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours Mixer on Thursday, January 22, 2009.  The event, titled "A Taste of New England," featured catering by Maine-ly New England Restaurant.  Nearly 100 Chamber members were in attendance and Watson Clinic entered all guests into a drawing for six specialty gift baskets.

Watson Clinic opened a Dermatology office in Zephyrhills on September 5, 2008 at 6901 Medical View Lane, across the street from Florida Hospital Zephyrhills and off of Daughtery Road.  Under the guidance of board-certified dermatologist Rick L. Moore, MD, patients are now experiencing the Watson Clinic difference in their own neighborhood of Zephyrhills.  Dr. Moore offers a wide array of services to meet every skin care need, including the detection and treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis, dermatologic surgery, monitoring of skin cancer, treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails, and a full range of cosmetic procedures and chemical peels. In addition, he provides Botox and dermal fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, and Radiesse.

Dr. Moore was born and raised in the Zephyrhills area.  He received his medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he also completed an internship in Internal Medicine and his residency in Dermatology and cutaneous surgery.  While in residency, he was voted Resident Teacher of the Year in 2007 and 2008 and was Chief Resident of Clinical Conferences.  He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons.

Appointments are available by calling 813-788-7867.  Most health insurance plans, including Evolution Healthcare, are accepted. In addition to the new Zephyrhills dermatology office, Watson Clinic provides dermatology and dermatopathology services at its Main Clinic in Lakeland, South Lakeland Clinic and Sun City Center locations.

Goin’ Postal Ranks as #6 “Top New Franchise”

Once again, Goin’ Postal has climbed to new heights in Entrepreneur Magazine’s prestigious annual “Franchise 500” rankings.  The company has managed to consistently advance through the magazine’s rankings each year since the company was first acknowledged by Entrepreneur in 2007.  While its competitors, such as UPS and PostNet have fallen off in terms of growth and have had their rankings slip, Goin’ Postal is now the 51st fastest growing franchise nationwide, forging ahead of ALL of its competitors within the shipping industry.

In the 2009 Entrepreneur “Franchise 500”, Goin’ Postal received four rankings:

  • #6 “Top New Franchise” ,  #51 “Fastest Growing Franchise”
  • #93 “Top Global Franchise” , #118 Overall.

These numbers are remarkable when compared to the billion dollar companies in the list, such as Subway, 7-Eleven, McDonalds, and The UPS Store.  Goin’ Postal is the first and only franchise chain to be born in, and based in, Zephyrhills.  Founded by Marcus and M.J. Price in a small storefront in 2002, Goin’ Postal became a franchised brand in 2004, and now has over 400 stores nationwide.    All store owners are required to attend training classes in Zephyrhills, which brings commerce to the city since the franchisees reside in local hotels, dine at local eateries, and shop at local stores.  Goin’ Postal Franchise Corporation has the short term goal of reaching 1,000 stores across the country, and providing 100 well-paid jobs right here in Zephyrhills in order to support those nationwide franchisees.

Goin’ Postal has now launched several additional franchises based on successful Zephyrhills businesses.  Two such businesses are einSigns and Hut no. 8, both of which are already receiving a great deal of positive attention from franchise investors around the country.  To learn more about Goin’ Postal, please visit www.goinpostal.com or call 1-800-504-6040.
