The third annual Miss Sparklebration Pageant, sponsored by the Pasco County Fair Association, will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, in the Dan Cannon Auditorium located on the fair-grounds, 36772 State Road 52, Dade City.

The pageant is being held in conjunction with the fair’s annual Fourth of July celebra­tion called “Sparklebration” to be held on Friday,July 4, at the fairgrounds.

The pageant is open to girls ages 5 through 21 who have lived in Pasco County for at least the past six months. Five crowns will be awarded at the pageant. Winners will be selected in the following age groups: Wee Miss Sparklebration, ages 5-7;Young Miss Sparklebration, ages 8-10; Junior Miss Sparklebration, ages 1 1-13;Teen Miss Sparklebration, ages 14-16; and Miss Sparklebration, ages 17-2 1.

Contestants will be judged in evening wear in Groups 3,4 and 5, Groups 1 and 2 will be judged in age-appropriate dresses. Cash prizes will be awarded in each group. The winners will also receive crowns and sashes. The winners will then reign over Sparklebration on Friday, July 4, There is a $35 non-refundable entry free. Late entries will be accepted the day of the event as well for $40.
