Monday, Feb.18, 2008 Students from Harmony and Rhythm Performing Arts Academy visit local community centers where classes are about to begin. An exciting performing group for children is making its home in Pasco County. Harmony and Rhythm Performing Arts Academy is coming to four recreation centers around Pasco County. The program is for boys and girls aged 3-12 years old. Each weekly class meets for 45 minutes where the students learn to sing, dance, and act. They prepare 3 different shows throughout the year and focus on basic vocal training, drama, dance, microphone skills and music theory. Director Nina Bartleson stated, “This is a fun, educational program where gifted children shine and shy children bloom.” The $40/month tuition makes this an affordable way for children to explore the performing arts.
